IMPLEMENTATION OF FG’s EASE OF DOING BUSINESS; FAAN’s GIANT STRIDES

In 2017, the Federal Government of Nigeria launched a programme tagged Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria.

This programme is targeted at ensuring that government agencies deliver services to the general public in a timely, honest and efficient manner. In essence, the Federal Government did a critical evaluation of service offerings in government establishments and discovered that there is so much bureaucracy in processes and procedures.

Consequently, the Ease of Doing Business initiative was conceived and launched to reduce to the barest minimum, bureaucratic bottlenecks in government processes and procedures.

FAAN, being a critical stakeholder and a major catalyst for investments in Nigeria was chosen alongside a few other agencies to pilot the scheme.
