Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar
Margaret Ekpo International Airport was named after a woman activist Chief (Mrs.) Margaret Ekpo for her selfless service to the country and to the Nigerian woman.
The Airport was officially commissioned on July 23, 1983 by the former President, Alhaji Shehu Shagari.
It is located at Akim Qua Town in Calabar the capital of Cross River State. The nearest community to the Airport is Ediba Qua Town.
